Doogood Australia is a growing and dynamic metal finishing and steel product importer based in the Doveton area. We specialise in providing unique solutions to unconventional customer requests. We are seeking a motivated and mature person to join our team in assisting with the Victorian deliveries. This is a full time role with above award remuneration and great work life balance.
Responsibilities include:
- Working Monday to Friday - weekend work is optional.
- The loading and unloading of steel fencing and related products both within the warehouse environment and onsite when required.
- Some manual handling is required.
- Forklift LF licence is a MUST.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional workplace.
The successful applicant would ideally have:
- Demonstrated experience in the transport and logistics fields- minimum two years.
- Must have a current HR truck licence. Road Ranger experience preferred but not essential.
- Have previous experience in loading and unloading steel products [or comparable items].
- Demonstrate a mature work ethic including the ability to problem solve., respond to customer requests and to work with minimal supervision when required.
- Possess a good working geographical knowledge of Melbourne and its surrounds.
- Possess basic computer data entry skills.
- The successful applicant must agree to be compliant with all relevant OHS requirements including company policies involving smoking, drug, alcohol and pre-employment physical examinations.
