Doogood Australia is a family-owned and operated business 15 years strong. We currently operate with 40 staff, over 2 locations. Our background is starting as a small powder coating business which is still the core of our business to becoming one of Australia's biggest steel distributors, chain mesh manufacturing, fencing, gates, structural manufacturing to meet customer demands. We are a supply only business and pride ourselves on the service we offer.
Responsibilities include:
- Welding and working with Gal pipe.
- MIG fabrication-to a high standard.
- Polishing, cropping and pressing metals.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Help out in other areas of the business when required.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Have some initiative and willing to learn in a faced paced environment.
- Strong organisaticcal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- An energetic attitude and be customer service focussed.
- The ability to work unsupervised.
- Experience welding Gal pipe.
- Experience with MIG fabrication.
- Forklift desirable but not a must.
